Smoking Cessation

For people who want to stop smoking and who are unfamiliar with hypnotherapy, I have devised a single-session ‘Quit smoking’ programme.

The session lasts for about an hour and a half and comes with a free top-up session if needed. However I'm proud to say that this is very rare as the programme is so successful.

This programme costs just £90 (so a 20-a-day smoker will get their money back in two and a half weeks) and includes a free hypnosis CD to take away with you to give you help and encouragement whenever you need it.

For most smokers who want to quit, smoking represents a lack of choice, a prison from which they can't escape. Smoking is, first and foremost, a bad habit and, like all habits, it is something that can be changed.

In fact there are two elements that make stopping smoking difficult. One is the actual addiction to nicotine. Once you stop smoking however, all the nicotine and nicotine antibodies are out of your system in 48 hours.

The other element is the actual habit of smoking, the routine of lighting a cigarette. This is the thing that patches and nicotine gum don't help with.

My approach to smoking cessation focuses on the habit of smoking and so achieves a higher success rate than patches and nicotine gum.

The Cost of Smoking

With cigarettes now costing more than £5 per packet the annual cost of smoking is colossal.

The Real Cost of Smoking

Of course the real cost of smoking is much higher.

- Smoking causes 120,000 deaths per year in the UK alone, that's 139 deaths every day.

- Smoking has been shown to weaken the immune system.

- One in three smokers die prematurely.

- Smokers in their 30s and 40s are five times more likely to have a heart attack than non-smokers.

Stop while you still can.
